LEV3L (Level 3) is a term that describes so much of what young people who are living their passions already know.
Long ago I learned not to wait.
In high school I invited a group of really awesome students to join a new social justice club. “Sounds awesome! But we’re waiting until university to get involved,” they said.
In university, a classmate and I talked about our life plans. “I can’t wait until graduation to begin to realize my dreams,” she exclaimed.
I spoke with an adult friend about the top 10 things they want to do in their life. When will you do them? I asked. “Oh, when I retire,” he muttered.
While flipping through travel magazines with my grandmother, she mentioned that she has always wanted to go to Asia. “But I’ve waited too long now; the doctor says I’m not well enough,” she whispered.
Level 3 is about not waiting to do all the things that you want to do in your life. It’s about doing them now! Opening the door when opportunity knocks. Making the time. Taking a risk. Changing the plan. Enjoying every moment. And sharing the journey with a friend.
